Jumeirah Public Beach is one of many free beaches you can take advantage of in Dubai. It is a small section of the larger Jumeirah beach in the - you guessed it - Jumeirah district of Dubai.
For those of you wondering how to get there, the beach is just down from Jumeirah Mosque (which is pretty spectacular) and straight out to sea from Century Plaza. It lies between Daria Island and Pearl Jumeirah, or, if you prefer streets, between Al Hudaiba Road and 61 B Street. The nearest metro station is Emirates Towers on the Red Line.
Good luck getting there and check out the pictures below to see what you're in store for.
Sand = white and hot. Water = clean and warm. |
Heading out onto the pier to take some pictures. First picture of many with that one particular building in the background :) |
At the end of the pier. Not surprised to see these. Drill baby drill. NOT. |
Looking back at the beach from out on the pier. There is "that building" again... |
Took a bit of a break. So. Hot. |
Cool quote. |
Inspirational message. |
Walking and bike-riding paths. |
Cool palm tree-filled seating area. Reminds me of Silver Sands Beach in Jeddah. |
There are places to workout too. |
Looking to the left from my spot on the beach. |
Here is a view of Jumeirah Public Beach from that building I was talking about. I went up to the observation deck. Pics of that in the near future. |
